We’re just gonna have to wait a little bit longer for Drake’s finale.
Tonight saw Geoff and the gang take to the stage for the second annual Game Awards show. It was full of
Doritos, Mountain Dew and commercialism appreciation for this years biggest and best games, their developers, a genuinely touching tribute to Iwata and there were a few “world exclusive” game announcements made too. We sat through this marketing video thoroughly enjoyable show so you didn’t have to. Here are all the winners, losers and “World Premier” game announcements of The Game Awards 2015 in one handy post.
Last night Naughty Dog held a life stream showcasing Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer aspect. Seems like it was a good session as there is 40 minutes of gameplay for you to gawp at.
The live stream showcased some new elements we can expect to see when the game is released including new ‘mysitcals’ which are power ups based on previous games. Also on display was Uncharted 4’s ‘sidekicks’ these are NPC characters that can be called to your aid if you’re tired of getting a face full of bullets.
The multiplayer beta goes live on December 4 for those who purchased the Nathan Drake Collection. It weighs in at 7GB so best clear some hard drive space.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End releases in March 2016
Perhaps the biggest exclusive for the PS4 this year is Uncharted: A Thief’s End. However, the question on everyone’s lips is, when is it coming out. Well, we might have just had our first clue, thanks to Walmart.
The giant US retailer has started take pre orders for the game, with a date of October 1 2015. No this of course could just be a place holder and the only official news we have from Sony is that we will be getting our hands on Drake (oo er) in 2015 so it could be a genuine date.
Fingers crossed this is true, so we can have some time to play the previous three games to get up to speed, and save money so we can all go out and buy the super deluxe gigaton edition.
