Tropico 5 – Multi
Tropico 5, a much overlooked settlement-management game, has already seen a release on the PC, Mac and Xbox 360 but “Tropico and El Presidente have never looked better.” on the PS4 according to developers Kalypso. Initially set to release in 2014, it looks like this game has slipped into 2015 like many others.
Mad Max – Content
Mad Max will be returning to the silver screen in 2015 but this will not be his only adventure that year. Mad Max is also getting a game release from Warner Brothers and Avalanche Studios. The PS4 version of Mad Max will receive exclusive content but no details on what exactly this entails have been released yet.
If there is one downside to owning a PS4 and not a Wii U it is the distinct possibility that we will never get to play a Pokemon game on our console of choice – but never fear! Developers The Layabouts are bringing the retro-Pokemon inspired Collectems to the PS4 (and Vita). This game brims with the retro delights of Pokemon Red and Blue but has procedural generation which means each persons journey through the game will be different. Collectems will also have an original story and (for the purists) 4 different colour schemes – full colour, simple colour, grey scale and green scale – so that you can relive the hay day of the Gameboy.
The Elder Scrolls Online – Multi
While PC gamers have had the pleasure of delving into TESO for quite a while, the console version was delayed to enable Bethesda to make it the best it can be because, frankly, it was not very warmly received upon its initial release. Hopefully the game will find a new following when it releases on the PS4 and Xbox One in 2015.
Battleborn – Multi
While everyone was expecting Gearbox to announce Borderlands 3, they blind sided us all with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel , and the new IP, Battleborn. This FPS meets MOBA could be an instant hit when it hits the PS4 and Xbox One in 2015.
Get Even – Multi
Coming from The Farm 51, Get Even promises photo-realistic graphics using new tech which lays actual photos over pre-rendered frames (and by the looks of the screenshots, its hard to disagree this game will be beautiful). It also features a unique multiplayer aspect which will mean that you will never know if you are fighting against the games AI or a human player.
Magicka 2 – Console
The sequel to the best selling, award winning Magicka will be a console exclusive for the PS4 thanks to a deal struck with Paradox Interactive. Are you ready to delve back into the Wizard War?
Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires – Multi
Yes. Another Dynasty Warriors game. Filled to bursting point with massive battles and thrilling strategic game play, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires will be arriving on the PS4, PS3 and Xbox One in Q1 2015.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 – Multi
Capcom are taking a different approach with Revelations 2 by breaking the game down into story driven episodes that will all draw towards a terrifying conclusion. Of course, if you can’t wait for each episode to release you could go for…
REMake (Resident Evil) – Multi
Are you ready to make a “Jill Sandwich” all over again? That’s right. Capcom are polishing their original (and in my opinion, best) survival horror scarefest for a RE-release. Chris, Barry and Jill are all coming back and they look stunning on the PS4.
