Techland return to dirt racing with FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15.
Techland have made a name for themselves developing zombie survival-’em-ups in the shape of Dying Light and the Dead Island games but not many will know that the studio have worked on quite a few racing games in the past too. The most popular of these games is FIM Speedway Grand Prix and after a 4 year hiatus, the dirt racing game is returning in the shape of FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15.
Boasting the best riders from the current season (Nicki Pedersen, Jarosław Hampel, Tai Woffinden, Krzysztof Kasprzak, Greg Hancock, more) and real world stadiums from around the world (Målilla (Sweden), Cardiff (UK), Horsens (Denmark), Toruń (Poland), and Melbourne (Australia), more) Techland are attempting to make the most realistic Speedway game ever. Dynamic real-time commentary, online matches for up to 4 players, roaring engines, incredible speed, shoulder-to-shoulder racing, cheering crowds, and clouds of dirt and shale – this will be the players’ road to becoming the next Speedway World champion.
Head of Techland Warszawa, Marek Soból, said;
“Speedway is the essence of immense power, adrenaline and… brakeless racing! I strongly believe that FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15 will be the best speedway simulator ever made by Techland. We treat it as a completely new beginning for the brand.”
FIM Speedway Grand Prix 15 is in development at Techland Warszawa, the company’s subsidiary studio based in Warsaw and will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in Q4 2015.
