Well, it’s almost as if we have a sixth sense. Just a few days ago, we were doing the latest podcast and the subject of Titanfall came up, and we all agreed that it should come to PS4 at some point.

Well, it’s unlikely we’ll see the first game anytime soon, but the sequel on the other hand is pretty much a given. Seeing as the Xbox One didn’t sell so good at the beginning and thus Titanfall didn’t sell that well, it makes sense to widen the audience to get as many sales as possible. EA seem to think so too.

Speaking at the Technology, Internet & Media Conference in San Francisco, Blake Jorgensen (CFO at Electronic Arts) dropped a pretty big hint that the PS4 would be seeing the next Titanfall

Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven’t yet announced, but we’ll probably have another Titanfall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that’s a huge positive for us.

Unless EA have some big plans for the Wii U, and the fact that the original game came out on PC, it looks like the only remaining console the game could practically appear on would be the PS4. Win!
