E3 2016 has come and gone, lots of exciting new games were revealed, and even a new console but we won’t get into that here.
Amongst all the exciting new games coming to PlayStation, a new God of War and awesome looking Zombie game in the shape of Days Gone there were still some glaring omissions from the show this year. It kind of happens every year gamers expectations grow and grow in the hope that they will get to the see the game they most want. We should be used to it now, but we never are. Here are PSGamers 5 games missing from E3 this year
Red Dead Redemption 2
This is an obvious one really, And also hugely disappointing given that Take Two were nowhere to be seen. Over the past year there have been lots of rumours surround the next game from RockStar, there was a map leaked showing of the game world, and even a solitary screenshot from what was supposed to be Red Dead Redemption 2. but alas, nothing was shown leaving us hoping that 2017 will finally be the year we get to travel the wild west again.
Whore of the Orient
Here is a game with troubled development. Whore of the Orient is an action adventure game set in Shanghai, and was being developed by Team Bondi. Although due to rumours of unethical working practice, no publisher wanted to team up with them. Step in KMM who absorbed Team Bondi and work continued. Or so we thought. In 2013 there were lay offs at Team Bondi and the game was put on hold again. It’s a troubled game for sure but also an exciting prospect with Bondi’s propriety facial MotionScan tech, seen in L.A . Noire set to make a return. Initially Whore of the Orient was set for a 2015 release, Looks like we’re going to be waiting a bit longer until we see this game on PS4, if at all
Beyond Good and Evil 2
Well I think we all know about this game, It’s been on the radar of most gamers every year since that pretty awesome looking trailer was released years ago. This year despite a few murmurings around the internet regarding the game nothing was concrete. There has actually been very little in the way of news Regarding Beyond Good and Evil 2. Now that Vivendi is taking over Ubisoft the likely hood of seeing Beyond Good and Evil 2 anytime soon is getting less and less. We can still hope though
