Strap in, you’re heading back to the wasteland.
It’s about time! Bethesda Studios has detailed the rather substantial Fallout 4 DLC, starting in March.
First up is Automatron, coming next month. Priced at $9.99 USD (£7.99 GBP | $16.95 AUD).
Automatron tasks you with hunting down evil robots across the Commonwealth and will allow you to mod your own custom robot companions (YES, THAT’S HAPPENING). You can choose from a ton of mods including weapons, armors, abilities, mixing limbs and a lightning chain gun. A lightning chain gun. Fallout 4, guys.
Following in April is the Wasteland Workshop priced at $4.99 USD (£3.99 GBP | $7.95 AUD)
In the Wasteland Workshop you can design and set cages to capture the live creatures – including Deathclaws. You’re able to tame them or have them face off, against fellow settlers. The Wasteland Workshop will also include a bunch of design options for your settlements like nixi tube lightning, letter kids and taxidermy, plus much more.
Finally in May is the Far Harbor. The most expensive of the incoming DLC at $24.99 USD (£19.99 GBP | $39.95 AUD)
A new case from Valentine’s Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young woman and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where higher levels of radiation have created a more feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work towards bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost? Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Become more powerful with new, higher-level armor and weapons. The choices are all yours.
That’s not it though…oh, not even close.
Bethesda have announced that an extended DLC plan will hike up the season pass from $29.99 to $49.99 (£24.99 to £39.99 GBP; $49.95 to $79.95 AUD) from March 1st, though if you already have the pass you will most definitely still get every piece of content incoming for Fallout 4.
Finally, there are closed beta’s incoming for consoles and PC, you can sign up over at Bethesda.net. You’ll need to create an account and applicants will be selected in the coming weeks. If you participate you won’t have to purchase the add-on as the beta will be the full content.
It’s all happening over at Bethesda, make sure you stay locked to PSGamer for the latest announcements!
