The sequel to the hugely successful Garden Warfare will be available to test next week.

If there’s one PS4 game that’s got me and my friends hooked, it’s Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare.

Even non gamer friends have jumped in and had a go and loved it – one even picked up a PS4 just to play it, the same week the game was announced as a free download by EA at 2014’s PSX – and so news of sequel was music to the ears. Hours were spent deep in that game so we’re chomping at the bit to see what’s next.

And so news today has emerged of a public beta available next week on PS4, January 14th, to be precise. In the beta, you’ll be able to try out four new multiplayer maps: Moon Base Z, Frosty Creek, Z-Tech Factory and Seeds of Time played across the ‘Flag of Power’ mode. Along with this, you’ll also be able to try out the Backyard Battleground.

EA have also launched a trailer to coincide with the announcement. Oh man, we can’t wait for this.
